How Gardening Leads to Wholeness

Let’s talk about gardening, the reason I garden is not so much about growing food for my family, but it’s about seeing the nature of God. Through gardening, God has shown me so many ways that I need to grow simply by seeing how His entire plan for creation thrives on growth. Wholeness is about growth, and once we gain insight on that, we can change our lives in the best way possible.

A garden is a
grand
teacher. It
teaches
patience and
careful
watchfulness;
it teaches
industry and
thrift; above
all it teaches
entire trust.
-Gertrude Jekull

As we grow the garden in the natural with all of our herbs, plants, soil and fertilizer, I’d like to remind you that if the foundation on which you plant this garden is not secure it will fail and the harvest will not be as plentiful. Let’s take care of the garden of our minds and gain wholeness in every area of our lives.
