The Art of New Beginings

There is nothing like something new. It gives us the opportunity to experience all the feelings of a new adventure. It helps us renew our minds to a fresh outlook and keep our since of wonder.

Do you remember when you were a child and you would have new clothes or shoes for the first day of school? It made you feel like there was nothing you can’t conquer on that first day. You wanted to show your friends that new shirt or pair of jeans that you were so excited to have.

That’s the feeling of a new beginning. It brings back that time when we had no fear and only hoped. Learning to embrace the new beginings comes with freedom. Freedom from others opinions and what they think about your dreams. Because the truth is… God gave you the dream and not them, whoever them or they would be in your life.

For many years I allowed the opinions of others to dictate what I do and that left me with little to no confidence in my creative ability. I was able to tap into what gifts I had and realize that I am creative. And this is after years of thinking I didn’t have anything to offer.

I encourage you all to think deep about what you’ve always wanted to do and make a plan to go after it. Matthew 17:20 says if you have faith nothing will be impossible for you.
